How can I help protect endangered species? +

You can help protect endangered species by supporting conservation organizations, reducing your carbon footprint, advocating for stronger environmental policies, and spreading awareness about wildlife protection.

What are endangered species? +

Endangered species are animals or plants that are at risk of becoming extinct due to factors like habitat loss, overhunting, or environmental changes. These species have very few individuals left in the wild, making them highly vulnerable.

  • An endangered species is a plant or animal facing a very high risk of extinction in the wild.
  • Key threats: habitat loss, climate change, pollution, poaching, and the spread of invasive species.
  • Fewer than  4% of the world’s mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians, and fish are currently listed as endangered.

Endangered species are more than just names on a list—they are living beings fighting for survival. Each loss brings us closer to an unbalanced world.

  2. Support sustainable and ethical choices: Buy from eco-friendly brands, avoid products linked to deforestation or animal exploitation, and choose local, organic, or plant-based foods.
